Description The herbaceous perennial Epimedium diphyllum (bishop's hat) bears showy and white blossoms during mid-spring. This plant is clump forming and has foliage that is greyish green in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, ground cover, naturalization and woodland.
Special Characteristics Epimedium diphyllum is tolerant of drought. In autumn, Epimedium diphyllum is alight with fall colour.
Cautions Be advised that Epimedium diphyllum (bishop's hat) may be invasive where conditions are favourable. In such cases it will require maintenance to keep it under control.
