Description The ornamental grass Elymus canadensis (Canada wild rye) bears greyish lime and plume shaped blossoms during mid summer to early fall. This plant is erect in form and has showy foliage that is greyish green in colour. Dark aquamarine fruit are produced by Elymus canadensis (Canada wild rye).
Typical Uses Cut flowers, dried flowers and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Birds and butterflies are attracted to Elymus canadensis . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought.
