Description The herbaceous perennial Echinacea sanguinea (sanguin coneflower) bears showy, white and repeat-blooming blossoms during mid-summer to late summer. This plant is clump forming and has matte and medium textured foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, cut flowers and wild flower.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts birds and butterflies to your garden. Echinacea sanguinea tolerates drought.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
