Description The herbaceous perennial Echinacea laevigata (smooth coneflower) is repeat-blooming and bears showy and faded purple blossoms during early summer to late summer. The matte foliage is medium green in colour and medium in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, cut flowers and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Birds and butterflies are attracted to Echinacea laevigata . Echinacea laevigata is tolerant of drought.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
