Description Dichondra argentea (silver dichondra) bears white and repeat-blooming blossoms during early summer to late summer. This tender perennial is low trailing in form and has medium green and light grey foliage that is showy, matte, medium textured and evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, container, ground cover and hanging basket.
Cautions With its very fast growth rate, Dichondra argentea (silver dichondra) will reach its mature size quickly. Keep this in mind when planning the layout of your garden. Reaching maturity quickly can be a benefit if you want your garden to look more established sooner. This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
