Description The herbaceous perennial Dianthus 'Spangled Star' (border pinks) bears showy, bright pink, fragrant and repeat-blooming blossoms during late spring to early autumn. This plant is mound shaped in form and has matte, fine textured and evergreen foliage that is greyish aquamarine and light grey in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, dried flowers, edging and mass planting.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Dianthus 'Spangled Star' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought and salt.
