Description The herbaceous perennial Dianthus 'Pixie Star' (alpine pinks) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, light pink and fragrant flowers during late spring to early fall. The matte foliage is greyish aquamarine in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, cut flowers, dried flowers, edging, mass planting and small or miniature planting.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Dianthus 'Pixie Star' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought and salt.
