Description The herbaceous perennial Dianthus 'Neon Star' (border pinks) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, bright pink and fragrant blossoms during late spring to mid autumn. The matte foliage is greyish aquamarine and light grey in colour, fine in texture and semi-evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, dried flowers, edging and mass planting.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Dianthus 'Neon Star' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought and salt.
