Description The herbaceous perennial Dianthus 'Ideal Crimson' (dianthus) is repeat-blooming and bears showy and bright red blossoms during early spring to early summer. The matte foliage is medium green in colour, medium in texture and semi-evergreen.
Typical Uses Bedding plant, border, container, cut flowers and edging.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Dianthus 'Ideal Crimson' . Dianthus 'Ideal Crimson' is tolerant of drought.
