Description The herbaceous perennial Dianthus 'Helen' (Allwoodii Alpinus Group) (alpine pink) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, light pink and fragrant flowers during late spring to mid summer. The showy matte foliage is greyish aquamarine and light grey in colour, fine in texture and semi-evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers and edging.
Special Characteristics It is worthy to note that Dianthus 'Helen' (Allwoodii Alpinus Group) tolerates salt.
