Description The tender perennial Dianthus caryophyllus 'Grenadin King of the Blacks' (carnation) bears showy, dark red, fragrant and repeat-blooming blossoms during mid-summer. This plant is upright and has matte, fine textured and evergreen foliage that is greyish aquamarine in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, cut flowers, ground cover and foundation.
