The herbaceous perennial Dianthus (Allwoodii Alpinus Group) (alpine pinks) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, white and fragrant blooms during late spring to early autumn. The glossy foliage is greyish aquamarine and light grey in colour, fine in texture and semi-evergreen.
