Description The herbaceous perennial Dianthus (Allwoodii Alpinus Group) (alpine pinks) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, white and fragrant blooms during late spring to early autumn. The glossy foliage is greyish aquamarine and light grey in colour, fine in texture and semi-evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, edging and foundation.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Dianthus (Allwoodii Alpinus Group) . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought and light foot traffic.
