Description Cytisus x dallimorei 'Minstead' (Scotch broom) bears showy, white and fragrant flowers during late spring. This shrub is arching in form and has medium green foliage that is matte and fine textured. The bark is smooth in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, cut flowers and hedge.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Cytisus x dallimorei 'Minstead' . Cytisus x dallimorei 'Minstead' is tolerant of drought and salt.
Cautions Where conditions are favourable, Cytisus x dallimorei 'Minstead' (Scotch broom) can be invasive and may require maintenance to keep it under control. This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
