Description The shrub Cuphea hyssopifolia 'Lavender Lace' (false heather) produces showy, faded violet and repeat-blooming blossoms during mid-spring to late autumn. This plant is mound shaped in form and has showy, glossy, medium textured and evergreen foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, edging, ground cover and hanging basket.
Special Characteristics This shrub attracts butterflies to your garden. Cuphea hyssopifolia 'Lavender Lace' tolerates drought.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
