Description The deciduous shrub Cotoneaster hessei (hess' cotoneaster) bears light pink blossoms during early spring to late spring. This plant is low trailing in form and has glossy and fine textured foliage that is medium green in colour. The bark is smooth in texture. Showy fruit are produced by Cotoneaster hessei (hess' cotoneaster).
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, ground cover and foundation.
Special Characteristics Birds are attracted to Cotoneaster hessei . In autumn, Cotoneaster hessei is alight with fall colour, and in winter it provides winter interest.
