Description The annual Cosmos sulphureus (yellow cosmos) bears showy, pastel orange and fragrant blossoms during late spring to late fall. The matte foliage is dark green in colour and medium in texture.
Typical Uses Bedding plant, border, cut flowers, wild flower and xeriscaping.
Special Characteristics This annual attracts birds and butterflies to your garden. Cosmos sulphureus tolerates drought.
Cautions Bees and wasps are attracted to Cosmos sulphureus (yellow cosmos). This could be an issue if there are severe allergies in the household.
