Description The herbaceous perennial Coreopsis palmata (tickseed) is repeat-blooming and bears showy and medium yellow blossoms during late spring to mid-summer. The foliage is dark green in colour.
Typical Uses Cut flowers, naturalization, wild flower, woodland and woods edge.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Coreopsis palmata . Coreopsis palmata is tolerant of drought.
Cautions Be advised that Coreopsis palmata (tickseed) may be invasive where conditions are favourable. In such cases it will require maintenance to keep it under control.
