Description The deciduous shrub Clethra alnifolia (coastal sweet pepper bush) bears showy, white and fragrant blooms during mid summer. The glossy foliage is medium green in colour and medium in texture. Clethra alnifolia (coastal sweet pepper bush) produces showy fruit. This plant has smooth bark.
