Description Clarkia amoena (satin flower) bears showy and medium magenta flowers during early summer to mid summer. This annual has greyish green foliage.

Special Characteristics Birds and butterflies are attracted to Clarkia amoena . Clarkia amoena is tolerant of drought and salt.
Cautions Bees and wasps are attracted to Clarkia amoena (satin flower) so be careful when you are working around the plant. Also allow some buffer space around the plant in your garden design for walkways or living space in your garden. This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
