The shrub Cistus x purpureus (purple rockrose) bears showy, light pink, fragrant and repeat-blooming blossoms during mid-spring to mid-summer. This plant is rounded in form and has matte, fine textured and evergreen foliage that is medium green in colour. The bark is smooth in texture.
