Description The tender perennial Cistus x aguilarii 'Maculatus' (crimson-spot rockrose) is repeat-blooming and bears showy and multi-coloured white flowers during late spring to early autumn. The glossy foliage is medium green in colour, medium in texture, aromatic and evergreen. Cistus x aguilarii 'Maculatus' (crimson-spot rockrose) has smooth stems that are aromatic.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, hedge, foundation and screening.
Special Characteristics Cistus x aguilarii 'Maculatus' is tolerant of drought.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
