Description The herbaceous perennial Chelone lyonii (lyon's turtlehead) bears showy and pink blossoms during mid summer to early fall. This plant is clump forming and has matte and coarse textured foliage that is greyish green in colour.
Typical Uses Border, cut flowers and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds are attracted to Chelone lyonii . Chelone lyonii is tolerant of wet sites.
