Description Chelone lyonii 'Hot Lips' (lyon's turtlehead) bears showy and bright pink blooms during late summer to mid-fall. This herbaceous perennial is upright and has medium green foliage that is matte and coarse textured.
Typical Uses Accent, bog, border, cut flowers, mass planting, waterfront and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Chelone lyonii 'Hot Lips' . Chelone lyonii 'Hot Lips' is tolerant of wet sites.
