Description Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana' (dwarf hinoki false cypress) bears bright yellow blossoms during mid spring to early summer. This conifer is pyramidal in form and has faded green foliage that is showy, glossy, medium textured and evergreen. The cones are showy. The bark is showy and exfoliating in texture.
