Description The shrub Chaenomeles x superba 'Texas Scarlet' (flowering quince) bears showy and bright red flowers during mid spring to early summer. The showy glossy foliage is medium green in colour and medium in texture. Chaenomeles x superba 'Texas Scarlet' (flowering quince) has smooth bark.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, hedge, foundation and topiary.
