Description The herbaceous perennial Ceratostigma plumbaginoides (blue leadwort) bears showy and mauve blooms during late summer to mid autumn. The glossy foliage is greyish lime in colour and fine in texture.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover and mass planting.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden. Ceratostigma plumbaginoides tolerates drought, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer. In the fall, Ceratostigma plumbaginoides offers a beautiful display of autumn colour.
