Description Cerastium alpinum var. lanatum (alpine chickweed) bears white blossoms during late spring to early summer. The foliage is greyish green in colour and evergreen.

Special Characteristics Cerastium alpinum var. lanatum tolerates drought and light foot traffic, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer.
