Description The herbaceous perennial Centaurea montana (bachelor's button) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, bi-coloured faded blue and fragrant flowers during late spring to mid-summer. The matte foliage is dark green in colour and medium in texture.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, cut flowers, edging, mass planting and wild flower.
