Description The herbaceous perennial Catananche caerulea (blue cupids dart) is repeat-blooming and bears showy and greyish fuchsia blooms during early summer to late fall. The matte foliage is dark lime in colour and fine in texture.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, dried flowers and mass planting.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts butterflies to your garden. Catananche caerulea tolerates drought.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
