Description Carex oshimensis 'Evergold' (variegated Japanese sedge) bears brown flowers during late spring. This sedge is clump forming and has variegated and striped dark green and pale lime foliage that is showy and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics It is worthy to note that Carex oshimensis 'Evergold' tolerates drought, and has a natural resistance to deer.
