Description The sedge Carex morrowii 'Variegata' (Japanese grass sedge) bears faded orange blossoms during mid spring. The showy glossy foliage is variegated, dark lime and pale green in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging and ground cover.
Special Characteristics Birds are attracted to Carex morrowii 'Variegata' .
Cautions This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
