Description The sedge Carex haydenii (Hayden's sedge) bears greyish green flowers during late spring. The foliage is greyish green in colour and fine in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bog, edging, mass planting, naturalization, pond, woodland and woods edge.
Special Characteristics Carex haydenii tolerates wet sites.
