Description The sedge Carex conica (dwarf sedge) bears faded purple blossoms during late spring to early summer. This plant is arching in form and has showy, glossy, fine textured and evergreen foliage that is deep green in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, edging and ground cover.
Special Characteristics Carex conica is tolerant of wet sites.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
