Description The sedge Carex comans 'Frosted Curls' (New Zealand hair sedge) bears medium green flowers during mid-summer to late summer. The showy glossy foliage is greyish aquamarine and light grey in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, edging, ground cover and mass planting.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought.
Cautions Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
