The sedge Carex comans 'Frosted Curls' (New Zealand hair sedge) bears medium green flowers during mid-summer to late summer. The showy glossy foliage is greyish aquamarine and light grey in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.

Cautions
Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
