Description The sedge Carex comans 'Bronze Perfection' (New Zealand hair sedge) bears dark brown blossoms during mid-summer to late summer. The showy glossy foliage is coral and medium orange in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, edging and ground cover.
Cautions Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
