Description The sedge Carex cherokeensis (Cherokee sedge) bears pale lime flowers during mid-spring to early summer. The foliage is light olive green in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, ground cover, naturalization, waterfront, wild flower and woodland.
Special Characteristics Carex cherokeensis has a natural resistance to deer.
Cautions Depending upon your local conditions, Carex cherokeensis (Cherokee sedge) may be invasive.
