Description Campanula latifolia (giant bellflower) bears showy and mauve blossoms during early summer to mid summer. This herbaceous perennial is clump forming and has greyish cyan foliage.
Typical Uses Border, mass planting, naturalization, wild flower and woodland.
Cautions Depending upon your local conditions, Campanula latifolia (giant bellflower) may be invasive. Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
