Description Calluna vulgaris 'Mair's Variety' (heather) bears showy, white and fragrant blossoms during mid-summer to mid-fall. This shrub is clump forming and has medium green and greyish green foliage that is matte, fine textured and evergreen. The bark is smooth in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, edging, ground cover and foundation.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Calluna vulgaris 'Mair's Variety' .
