Description The broadleaf evergreen Buxus microphylla (littleleaf boxwood) bears pastel yellow and fragrant blooms during late spring. The showy glossy foliage is medium green in colour, fine in texture and evergreen. Buxus microphylla (littleleaf boxwood) has smooth bark.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bank cover, container, edging, ground cover, hedge, foundation and topiary.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist rabbits, and it is tolerant of drought. In the winter, Buxus microphylla provides winter interest.
