Description The broadleaf evergreen Buxus microphylla var. japonica 'Green Beauty' (Japanese boxwood) bears medium green and fragrant blossoms during late spring. This plant is rounded in form and has showy, glossy, fine textured and evergreen foliage that is dark green in colour. The bark is smooth in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, container, edging, hedge, foundation and topiary.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits, and it is tolerant of drought, wet sites and pollution.
