Description The tender perennial Bulbine frutescens (bulbine) is repeat-blooming and bears showy and bright yellow flowers during early spring to mid-autumn. The matte foliage is medium green in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, edging, ground cover and tropical.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Bulbine frutescens . Bulbine frutescens is tolerant of drought.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
