Description Bouteloua gracilis (blue grama) bears showy and bright yellow blooms during early summer to early fall. This ornamental grass has dark lime foliage.

Special Characteristics Birds are attracted to Bouteloua gracilis . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought.
