Description The shrub Berberis thunbergii 'Gentry' (Royal Burgundy) (Japanese barberry) bears bright yellow blossoms during mid-spring to late spring. This plant is mound shaped in form and has showy, glossy and medium textured foliage that is dark red in colour. The bark is smooth in texture.
