Description Aurinia saxatilis 'Summit' (aurinia) bears showy, bright yellow and fragrant blossoms during early spring to late spring. This herbaceous perennial is mound shaped in form and has faded green and greyish green foliage that is showy, matte, medium textured and semi-evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover and mass planting.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Aurinia saxatilis 'Summit' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
