Description The herbaceous perennial Astrantia major 'Magnum Blush' (greater masterwort) produces showy and white blossoms during late spring to late summer. This plant is clump forming and has glossy and medium textured foliage that is medium green and pale yellow in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, border, container, cut flowers, dried flowers, mass planting, pond and woodland.
Special Characteristics Astrantia major 'Magnum Blush' is tolerant of wet sites.
Cautions Where conditions are favourable, Astrantia major 'Magnum Blush' (greater masterwort) can be invasive and may require maintenance to keep it under control. This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
