Description The herbaceous perennial Astrantia major 'Lars' (great masterwort) yields showy, bright red, fragrant and repeat-blooming blossoms during late spring to late summer. This plant is clump forming and has showy, glossy and medium textured foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, border, container, cut flowers, dried flowers, mass planting and woodland.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
