Description The herbaceous perennial Astilbe 'Vesuvius' (Japonica Group) (hybrid Japanese astilbe) bears showy and light pink blossoms during late spring to early summer. This plant is clump forming and has showy, glossy and fine textured foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Border, cut flowers, dried flowers, edging and foundation.
Special Characteristics Astilbe 'Vesuvius' (Japonica Group) is tolerant of wet sites.
