Description Asteriscus maritimus (astericus) bears showy and bright yellow flowers during late spring to mid autumn. This herbaceous perennial has greyish yellow foliage that is evergreen.

Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Asteriscus maritimus . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought.
