Description The herbaceous perennial Aster novae-angliae (New England aster) yields showy, greyish fuchsia and fragrant blossoms during late summer to early autumn. This plant is clump forming and has matte and medium - fine textured foliage that is dark green in colour.
Typical Uses Bedding plant, border, container, cut flowers and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Birds and butterflies are attracted to Aster novae-angliae . Aster novae-angliae is tolerant of wet sites.
