Description The herbaceous perennial Aster novae-angliae 'Red Star' (Roter Stern) (New England aster) produces showy and pink blossoms during late summer to late autumn. This plant is clump forming and has matte and fine textured foliage that is greyish green in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, cut flowers and wild flower.
